Block-modules or RC panels: which technology to choose
A modular reinforced concrete house can be built in two ways — from ready volumetric block-modules or from precast reinforced concrete panels. Both are faster than conventional construction but suit different tasks. Let’s see how they differ and what to choose.
Block-module houses
Block-modules are ready volumetric sections fully made at the factory (with windows and basic finishing) and installed on site by crane in 1–3 days. Maximum factory readiness and the fastest assembly. They suit single-storey solutions and cases where speed and mobility matter — a module can be dismantled and relocated.
RC panel houses
RC panels are precast wall and floor panels from which the house is assembled on site. The technology is more flexible in layout and convenient for one- and two-storey houses of more complex configuration. Panels arrive ready, so the shell goes up in a matter of days.
