Modular concrete «LEGO» blocks are a reliable, fast and modern construction technology that delivers maximum installation accuracy through the «tongue-and-groove» connection system. Tabs and grooves lock the blocks together without cement mortar, like a construction set, speeding up assembly and allowing the structure to be dismantled and reinstalled when needed without loss of strength. They are made of heavy reinforced concrete (fortification-grade «LEGO»-type blocks, «МБ» marking) in sizes from 600×300×600 to 2400×600×600 mm. Applications: foundations and retaining walls, warehouses, hangars and bulk-material yards, fences, fortification structures and temporary constructions. Technical features
Heavy concrete of class C40 (W10, F300) with reinforcement. The connection between blocks is a «tongue-and-groove» system in the horizontal plane: a pyramid-shaped tongue fits into the corresponding groove without cement mortar or adhesive mixtures. Installation is carried out with a crane or a manipulator.
The height of all sizes is 600 mm (actual 580 mm). Width: 300 mm (one row of tongues) or 600 mm (two rows). Length — 600, 1,200, 1,800 or 2,400 mm (actual dimensions are 20 mm smaller because of the tongue joint).
Additional versions: a «zero» block — without tongues on top, for the upper row where floor slabs are installed; a block with reinforced armouring and metal connecting strips along the longitudinal edges for welded connections between blocks.
Types and varieties of modular blocks
Standard LEGO BLOCKS manufactured by LLC «PVC ARSENAL» differ in their linear dimensions and in the number of rows of the «tongue-and-groove» connection system. In length they are 0.6 m, 1.2 m, 1.8 m and 2.4 m; in height — 0.6 m; in width — 0.3 and 0.6 m — for one row and two rows of tongues and grooves respectively.
Example of the designation: МБ-18.3.6т, where:
МБ — modular block, 18 — length in dm (L), 3 — width in dm (b), 6 — height in dm (h), т — heavy concrete.
